Amazon & Retail Sale Terms

How orders placed through Amazon and other retail platforms are fulfilled.

Last updated: 16 June 2026

Seller of record

Books listed under the Rewritten Roads name on Amazon are sold and fulfilled by Amazon or its third-party fulfilment partners. When you buy a book on Amazon, your contract of sale is with Amazon, not with Rewritten Roads or the author personally. Amazon's terms, pricing, taxes, delivery times, returns and refunds policies apply to that order.

Pricing and availability

Prices, stock levels, formats (paperback, hardcover, ebook, audio) and shipping options shown on Amazon are controlled by Amazon. We do our best to keep links on this site accurate but cannot guarantee Amazon listings will always match.

Returns and refunds

Returns, refunds and replacements for Amazon orders are handled directly by Amazon under its standard policy. Please open a return through your Amazon account. We are unable to refund or replace books bought on Amazon ourselves.

Reviews

Honest reviews on Amazon are welcomed and help other readers. We do not offer payment, discounts or free copies in exchange for positive reviews.

Direct, bulk and school orders

For bulk orders, school orders, signed copies or invoiced purchases, please contact us directly. Direct orders are governed by the terms agreed in writing at the time of order and by UK consumer law where applicable.

Other retailers

The same principle applies to other retail platforms (Waterstones, Bookshop.org, local bookshops, etc.): your contract is with that retailer, and their terms, delivery and returns policies apply.
